An ugly female demon who resides inside trees. If the tree they possess is cut down and made a support beam for a house, the Batibat becomes angry and will attack homeowners in their sleep. Anyone who sleeps too close to the possessed support beam will be suffocated as the Batibat sits on top of them as they sleep. The only way to ward them off is by biting your thumb and wiggling your toes.
